Common questions
How do I play?
Start with the Tutorial on the title screen. It walks you through pinging, leaping, founding colonies and fleets in twelve short steps. Every screen also has a Help button, and the Hint button suggests what to do next.
Do I need headphones?
They help a lot. Worlds and fleets sound from their direction in 3D audio, which is clearest with headphones. You can change sounds and haptics in Sound and Haptics.
What does Full Galaxy unlock?
Standard and large galaxies, ring and spiral shapes, and games with more than two players. Small two-player games, the tutorial, the story and every accessibility feature are free. Full Galaxy is a one-time purchase, shared with your family through Family Sharing.
I bought Full Galaxy on another device.
Open About and Support, then Full Galaxy, and tap Restore Purchases.
How does pass-and-play work?
In New Game, set more than one player to Human. Between turns, the game hides everything until the next player starts their turn, so you can pass one device around.
Do tips unlock anything?
No. Tips are an optional thank-you and unlock nothing extra.
